   Other names for Cathrine were KENNEY, Catherine ² and KENNY, Catherine.¹

  General Notes:

In 1881 the census for Dundee recorded Ann Kenny, widow, and her daughter Catherine living at 58 Kemback Street. Catherine's age was noted as 25 years, which would make her year of birth 1855-1856, close enough to the Cathrine Kinney recorded as born in Old Monkland in 1852-1853. However, in the 1881 census entry Catherine Kenny's place of birth was noted as Dundee. Unless the first Cathrine was deceased and another born slightly later in Dundee, this would seem to have been an oversight, not untypical in census collection.

When Ann Kenney died in Dundee in 1892, her daughter Catherine Kenney was the informant of her death. ^{2 3}
