Arthur McLoskey appears in the obituary list of St Mirin's RC parish Paisley in the 1840 list, the month being rather unclear. 'Paisley' appears after his name. ⁷

Arthur married Catharine QUIGLEY, daughter of Peter QUIGLY and Mary LOGAN, on 19 February 1814 in St Mirin's RC Chapel, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.¹ (Catharine QUIGLEY was born about 1791 in Ireland.)

The date of the proclamation certificate of the banns of this marriage was 29 January, at Abbey parish Paisley, but the marriage itself took place on 19 February 1814 in St Mirin's Roman Catholic Chapel in Paisley. The certificate was prepared by the session clerk of Abbey parish.
