General Notes:
In the birth certificate of Rosa Feely in 1855, her father stated that she was the second child of her mother, their issue being two daughters living. It is possible that this child was Margaret Feely who died in 1859, and that she was a little older than stated on her death certificate.
When she died in June 1859, Margaret was recorded as being 3 years old. 1
Medical Notes:
William Naismith MD, who last saw the child on June 5 1859, certified the cause of death.
Her mother, Heken Feely, who was present, gave notice of the death of her child before William Dickson, registrar, at Hamilton on June 8 1859 and made her X mark.
James Wright, undertaker, certified that she was buried in the parish church yard at Hamilton.
