'John Gordon, mariner, London, benefited under the settlement of Captain John Thomson, Aberdeen, in 1776. He was probably father of :
-Thomas Gordon in London, who was served heir to his grandfather, Thomas Gordon of Covnach, physician
in Peterhead, Dec. 8. 1798.'
