'Thomas Gordon was served heir general to his father, "John Gordon of Coynach," January 16. 1724. He was a physician in Peterhead, and died in 1782, aged 82. He married Jean Thomson of the Faichfield family ("Notes and Queries," 4th series, voL xii. p. 516; 5th series, vol. i., p. 293.'

Thomas married Jean THOMSON of Faichfield, daughter of Thomas THOMSON of Faichfield, Burgess of Aberdeen and Ann GORDON, on 15 August 1729 in Saint Nicholas parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.¹ (Jean THOMSON of Faichfield was baptised on 23 January 1706 in Longside parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland ⁵.)
