'Thomas Gordon was served heir general to his father, "John Gordon of Coynach," January 16. 1724. He was a physician in Peterhead, and died in 1782, aged 82. He married Jean Thomson of the Faichfield family ("Notes and Queries," 4th series, voL xii. p. 516; 5th series, vol. i., p. 293.'
