ANNA and AGNES
Agnes was often written as Annas in documents of earlier centuries. Transcribers then transcribe it sometimes as Anna, whereas it seems to represent Agnes.
Anna married Thomas GORDON of Myreton, son of Robert GORDON Burgess of Elgin and Jean LESLIE, on 1 April 1655.1 (Thomas GORDON of Myreton was born about 1635 and died before 21 November 1679.)
