Another name for Ann was LYNASS, Ann. General Notes: Ann was alive when her son William John died in 1855 but deceased when her daughter Margaret died in 1872. No maiden surname was given for her in Margaret's death certificate, but there is no doubt Margaret was in this family. 4 Ann married Charles LYNASS. (Charles LYNASS was born about 1775 and died before 10 Nov 1855.) Ann next married Ann TAGGART, daughter of John TAGGART and Ann TAGGART MS UNKNOWN.1 2 (Ann TAGGART was born in 1870 in Torpenhour, Cumberland, England 5.) Marriage Notes: "John Gordon (of Nethermuir) married, before 1696, Elizabeth Gordon ('Poll Book,' ii., 10). She must be the daughter of James Gordon of Rothiemay, who, according to the Balbithan MS., married 'Gordon of Nethermuir.' " |
