Henry McWhirter, the widower, who had been present, gave notice of his wife's death to the registrar, William Buchanan, at Glasgow on July 11 1872.


Margaret married Henry McWHIRTER. (Henry McWHIRTER was born about 1820 and died after 10 Jul 1872.)


Margaret next married James LYNAS, son of William John LYNASS and Isabella McVEIGH, about 1737.1 (James LYNAS was born on 11 Feb 1870 in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, Scotland 3.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Dingwall (Lucretia), daughter of William Dingwall of Brucklay and Anna Gordon his wife, was married to her cousin, William Dingwall, afterwards of Culsh, then factor on the estate of Brucklay, and died early, leaving one son, whose descendants succeeded to Brucklay in 1812." (page 61)

"He (William Dingwall) was married probably in 1737 to Lucretia Dingwall, one of the daughters of his uncle, William Dingwall of Brucklay and Anna Gordon his wife. They had one son, whose descendants in 1812 came into possession of Brucklay." (page 66)
