In her father's death certificate of 1855 Eliza was described as aged 24 years.

Eliza married FARR.^{2 3} (FARR was born about 1810.)

"John Forbes of Pitnacaddell married Christian Johnston, daughter to the L. of Caskieben, who did bear to him John Forbes, qo. departed without issue ; Alex. Forbes of Ballogie, James Forbes of Pitnacaddell, Mr. George Forbes, minister att Tragner, and Wm. Forbes in (blank) , with two daughters ; Margaret married to Mr. Alex. Ronald, minister at Aberdour ; and Christian to Wm. Forbes in Auchlyne."
