William, designated as a brother who had been present where the death occurred, was the informant of the death of Lionel Lynass in 1887.

William was also the informant of his brother Leo's death in Glasgow in 1889.

In 1891 it was William Lynass who notified the registrar of the death of his father John on 17 July. He signed the notice with a fine flowing hand. ¹
