  General Notes:

Thomas, his wife and family, were recorded by the 1861 census living in Cambusnethan at 2 Thornhill Row, ('private houses'). Thomas was aged 60 years, a coal miner, who had been born in Ireland as had all his family.

When Thomas died in 1862 he was recorded as having been a farmer. He was survived by his wife Mary. His age was recorded as 60 years. Both of his parents were deceased by then.

Jane, his daughter married in 1870. In her marriage certificate Thomas was recorded as having been a labourer.

The 1881 census recorded only John and Patrick Quigley living in the household.

John Quigley, Thomas' son died in 1906. In his death certificate his father Thomas was recorded as a 'small farmer'.

When his son, Patrick, died in 1913, Thomas was already deceased. He was recorded in Patrick's death certificate as having been a farmer. ^{1 2 3}

At no 1 Thornhill Row were Terence Donaly and wife. In a later book, en d 5, was Patrick Donnelly and some family.

  Medical Notes:

Thomas had no medical attendant.

His son, Hugh, who was present where the death occurred, notified the registrar at Cambusnethan, Thomas B. Gibson, on 26 November 1862.

Thomas married Mary CASSIDY. (Mary CASSIDY was born about 1799 in Ireland and died afte 25 November 1862.)
