Cause of his death was apoplexy over 10 days.7 Other names for Edward were VALLALY, Edward 5 8 and VALLIDAY, Edward.4 9 General Notes: The 1851 census for the parish of Cambusnethan in Lanarkshire recorded Edward Valliday, his wife and three daughters and two lodgers, James McIlveir, aged 22 years, and Arthur Murphy aged 21 years, both Irish born, living at 11 Burnside Row Newmains. Edward had been born in Ireland and was recorded as 48 years of age. He was a labourer in the furnaces by occupation. Edward married Mary MONAGHAN, daughter of John MONAGHAN and Rosannah DONACHIE. (Mary MONAGHAN was born about 1804 in Ireland 4 and died 20 June 1890 at 0.45 pm in 50 Albert Street, Glasgow, Scotland 2 3 5.). The cause of her death was old age and chronic bronchitis.7 |
