In his birth certificate of 1916 (not 1915 as recorded in his death certificate), it was Peter's mother who was the informant of his birth and signed hereself 'Margaret Nardini'.

In his death certificate of 1985, Peter Nardini was recorded as a retired ice cream salesman. He was a widower and aged 69 years at death. His usual residence was 211 Main Street, Wishaw. Both of his parents were deceased. His son, who signed himself PMF Nardini of Winwick House, Wateringbury, Kent, was the informant of his father's death. 2 3


Peter married Rosa Maria Cesira MARCHI, daughter of Marco MARCHI and Anselma MARCHI, on 23 November 1949 in St Ignatius RC Church, Craigneuk, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (Rosa Maria Cesira MARCHI was born about 1916 and died 11 June at 7.35 pm in Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, Scotland 4.). The cause of her death was Bilateral bronchiectasis/chronic pulmonary infection and cardiac and respiratory failure.


  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Thomas Kearney, Catholic Clergyman of St Ignatius Church Wishaw, married the couple. Peter Marchetti, of 49 Woodlands Road, Glasgow, and Matilda Marchi of Pleasance Avenue, Falkirk, were witnesses.

Peter Nardini was recorded as a bachelor aged 33 years, of 215 Main Street, Wishaw. His occupation was noted as restaurateur. Both of his parents were deceased.

Rosa Maria Cesira Marchi was asingle woman aged 33 years of 215 Main Street Wishaw. Both of her parents were living.

The marriage was registered at Wishaw on 24 November 1949. 1
