Marriage Notes: "Mary-Eleanora Grant. Who was born 28th October 1771. On 24th May 1790, she was retoured heir of taillie and provision to her father. She married, in 1790, David M'Dowall, seventh son of William M'Dowall of Garthland and Castle Semple, Renfrewshire, and had issue. Her husband assumed the additional surname of Grant after M'Dowall. She died before 11th August 1832, and was succeeded by her eldest son, William." |
