" Gentleman, Beldornie" (ibid.). Charles the son of James, of Beldorney, was born in 1737, and entered Ratisbon, 1748."

"Indeed, two of his sons were educated at the Scots Monastery of Ratisbon, viz., Arthur, who appears in the list of arrivals in 1739, when he was eight years old, and Charles, who entered in 1748, at the age of eleven. The younger only became a priest, and died in Holland in 1816."
