Another name for Duncan was CUMING, Duncan progenitor of the Cumings of Auchry.3 User ID: X930. General Notes: "Sir Richard Cumyn's second son Duncan was also well provided for. He got from his father the lands of Lochtervandich, the half dauch of Auchmore, in Glenrinnes, the dauchs of Riven, Tomoclaggen, and Glenconylan, in Strathaven ; the dauchs of Enoch and Pitglasses, in Auchindown." Duncan married Daughter MACINTOSH, daughter of William MACINTOSH 7th of that Ilk and Unknown.1 2 (Daughter MACINTOSH was born about 1352.) Marriage Notes: "Ferquhard (Cumyn)'s brother Duncan married into Clan Mackintosh, and his son would later marry a daughter of the Earl of Mar." |
