On a precept of dare constat by Alexander Lord Spynie, dated 12th February 1603-4, he was infeft in Dalvey as heir of his father Patrick. He married, in 1594, Janet, daughter of Archibald Grant of Balintomb, and died before 3d July 1627. He left three sons."
