Medical Notes: H. G. Diverett MD certified the causes of death. William married Jessie SCOTT in 1869 in Anderston, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Jessie SCOTT was born about 1849, died in March 1887 in Stourbridge, Worcestershire, England 9 10 and was buried on 5 March 1887 in Brierley Hill, Staffordshire, England 11.) Marriage Notes: "WHITE William next married Janet Gold WINTON, daughter of Thomas PHILIP and Normina WINTON, on 4 June 1897 in All Saints Church, Brougham Street, Edinburgh, Scotland.2 (Janet Gold WINTON was born 21 February 1873 at 7.30 am in Bonnyrigg, Cockpen, Midlothian, Scotland and died 16 March 1943 at 4.45 pm in 99 Lochend Road, Leith, Midlothian, Scotland 4 6 12.). The cause of her death was cardiovascular degeneration over and hemiplegia over 1 year.4 Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated, after banns, according to the forms of the Episcopal Church. The priest was Alex D. Murdoch, and the witnesses were Peter McGow and Normina Gordon. |
