He was served heir to his father, Patrick Gordon of Hallhead, in the town and lands of Hallhead, the lands of Conquhonderland within the parish of Cushney, January 17, 1617. He married , and died 1620, leaving an only child, Elizabeth, who d. s. p. after 1641. He was succeeded by his brother, VII. Robert Gordon of Hallhead."
