He married , and had issue four sons : -

I. Patrick, who succeeded.

II. Robert, who succeeded Patrick.

III. George, who succeeded, and carried on the line of the family.

IV. Walter, who d. s. p. He was, along with Forbes of Cairnhill, convicted of troubling the town of Aberdeen in pursuing others with swordis, ilk ane of them outlaws, June 3, 1612.

Patrick Gordon died 1617, and was succeeded by his eldest son, VI. Patrick Gordon of Hallhead."
