  Marriage Notes:

"John Comyn left no children (see note below) by his wife, but he was succeeded by his nieces....."

from Scots Peerage (vol 2)

Note: John Comyn was indeed succeeded by his nieces, but this seems not to have been because he had no children, but because of his political stance, that is in favour of the English king and against the kingship of Bruce, in the Wars of Independence. M.E.Cumming says:

"As it appears to have been at the instance of her husband that the Countess of Buchan was imprisoned as long as he lived, so it is probable that he disinherited his daughters, who appear to have been brought up in Scotland, and married there to the allies of Bruce. It is said he had a son whom he took with him to England, and tried all in his power to make him subservient to Edward, but without avail, and that he died vit. pat, or soon after."

"Isabel, married to John Comyn, second Earl of Buchan. She it was who crowned Bruce, and for that deed was, by order of King Edward I., confined in a room called a cage within the Castle of Berwick."

from Scots Peerage (vol 4)

Note: Isabel's husband was the 3rd, not the 2nd, Earl of Buchan.

"John Cumin married Isabel, daughter (see note below) of Duncan Macduff, tenth Earl of Fife. Lord of Glendauchy is said to have been his title during his father's lifetime. - Aberdeenshire Collections.

A cell in Newburgh was endowed by the Earl of Buchan and the Countess Ysabelle, his wife. Between 1290 and 1306, John Cumin, Earl of Buchan, gave the church of Kineder to the Abbey of St Mary of Deer, which grant was afterwards confirmed by King Robert Bruce.

The Countess Isabel was the heroic dame who placed the crown upon the head of Bruce at Scone on the 29th of March 1306.

Cappgrave says -
'She stol fra' her lord all his gret horse,
And with sweech men as she trosted,
Cam' to that abbay ;
And there she sette the crowne upon Robardis head.' "

from Bruces and Cumyns

Note:This Isabel, Countess of Buchan, was the sister of Duncan, 10th Earl of Fife, not his daughter, though he did have a daughter, Isabella, who became Countess of Fife in her own right.
