"He (George Abercromby) married, first, Christina Barclay ; and secondly, before 29 October 1533, when he had with her a charter of the lands of Over and Nether Clune, co. Banff, Margaret Gordon. She afterwards was married, secondly, contract 24 April 1553, to Alexander Cumming of Altyre. By his first wife he had at least one son, James .... "
