DRUMLITHIE

Drumlithie is situated in Kincardineshire. It is about 22 miles soth from Aberdeen, and lies south west of Stonehaven.

LOUIS GORDON

In history Lord Louis or Lewis Gordon was the younger son of the Marquis of Huntly. He lived from 1725 to 1754. In his time he was a renegade naval officer, and later protected the city of Aberdeen and the left flank of the Jacobite army at Culloden. At one stage in his career he occupied Rothes. After the 1745 he fled to Europe where he later died in France.


Peter married Isabella Jane MACHRAY in 1876 in Old Machar parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.1 (Isabella Jane MACHRAY was born on 10 October 1852 in Aberdeen, Scotland 6 9 and died on 28 August 1935 in Sans Souci, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia 9.)
