Charter by Duncan Leslie of Petcapill whereby in implement of a contract with deceased John Gordon of Cluny for himself and in name of his daughter Agnes Gordon, now spouse of said Duncan Leslie, dated at Cluny 21st August, 1581, he grants to said Agnes Gordon in liferent and to John Leslie, his eldest son and apparent heir, and his lawful heirs whom failing to Alexander Leslie, second son of said granter, whom failing to Patrick Leslie, his third son, and the heirs male respectively of said Alexander and Patrick the lands of Creithmond extending to the whole sunny halves of the town and lands of Mekill Crechmond, Romakendill, Ardeharrell and Ardebuk and of Newmill and Auldmill with mill lands etc"
