Daughter married Thomas GORDON of Auchenhuive and Cracullie, son of John GORDON of Essie, and of Buckie and Daughter SPENS 'of Boddam'.1 (Thomas GORDON of Auchenhuive and Cracullie was born about 1492 and died on 28 October 1562 in Battle of Corrichie, Meikle Tap, near Aberdeen, Scotland 1.) Marriage Notes: "Thomas Gordon of Auchinhiff or Cracullie Second Son to John Gordon of Essy married the Laird of Inchpafra's daughter Drummond, with whom he begat four sons and a daughter, viz, his eldest son Alexander [Thomas1 MS 1644 ] Gordon of Cracullie, James Gordon of Achenhiff, Mr Alexander Gordon of Tulloch, and George who dyed without heirs ; his daughter Mary Gordon married John Gordon Laird of Cluny. Their father the said Thomas was killed att the Battle of Corrichie 1563[2 MS 1644]." |
