  Marriage Notes:

"(3) Katherine ; married John Abercrombie, advocate. On September 26, 1633, her brother, James, granted her and her sister, Anna, £10,000 (Scots ?), payable on their attaining the age of 16. On August 17, 1644, she raised an action against her nephew, the second baronet, and got her £5000 (Abd. Sheriff Court Records)."
