Marriage Notes: "Mary married ... secondly (contract 18 and 21 February 1629), to James, second Earl of Southesk, with 24,000 merks tocher, and died at Leuchars in April 1650." James next married Janet ADAMSON about 1661.2 (Janet ADAMSON was born about 1620 and died in June 1683 2.) Marriage Notes: "Lord Southesk married, secondly, about 1661, Janet Adamson, who on 9 April of that year was infeft in a liferent of the lands of Leuchars. By her, who died in June 1683, he had no issue." |
