Margaret had a relationship with James V STEWART King of Scots, son of James IV STEWART King of Scots and Margaret TUDOR.1 2 3 (James V STEWART King of Scots was born on 10 April 1512 in Linlithgow, West Lothian, Scotland,3 died on 14 December 1542 in Falkland, Fife, Scotland 3 and was buried in 1542 in Holyrood House, Edinburgh, Scotland 3.). The cause of his death was 'grief' after Scots defeat at Battle of Solway Moss.

"Margaret, named in the contract of her sister Catherine in 1518, cited above. She was contracted on 11 July 1527, to Robert Douglas of Lochleven, and married him, but became the mother, about 1531, by King James V., of James Stewart, afterwards the Regent Moray. She was living as the wife of Douglas in 1540."
