Naturalized: Superior Court of New Haven, Connecticut, USA, 23 October 1872. 5 Thomas married Janet DEMPSTER, daughter of Thomas DEMPSTER and Elisabeth ANDERSON, on 10 November 1854 in Tweedsmuir Parish, Peeblesshire, Scotland.1 (Janet DEMPSTER was baptised on 19 August 1832 in Tweedsmuir Parish, Peeblesshire, Scotland,1 died in 1915 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA 6 and was buried in 1915 in Westville Cemetery, Connecticut, USA 4.)
