In the parish of Tullynessle and Forbes, Aberdeenshire, Peter Holme [sic] was recorded by the 1861 census as head of a small household living at Manse Cottage. In the household lived Peter, his wife Margret Holme, and their two children. The younger child was named as Eliza A. P. Holme. She was aged 1 year and had been born in Tullynessle.




When Eliz Ann Tawse died in 1921 she was recorded as "Married to William Tawse Night Watchman" and 61 years of age. her parents were both deceased. Her father's name was noted in the death certificate, erroneously, as William Home. ^{2 3}

The informant was William Tawse, widower, who had been present where the death occurred. ²
