Peter Home Ross, Robert's son by Georgina Gordon died in 1889. In his death certificate Robert Ross was recorded as a labourer. ¹

Robert had a relationship with Georgina GORDON, daughter of George GORDON (DNA Linked) and Christian HOME. (Georgina GORDON was born on 14 May 1847 in Saint Nicholas parish, Aberdeen, Scotland and died 29 April 1933 at 2.25 pm in Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, Scotland.). The cause of her death was fracture of femur over 28 days and basal pneumonia.
