"Charles A. B. Lawder states that he (Alexander Lauder) was married firstly to a Susanna Home who died about 1604 (see Note below). Certainly this appears to tie in with the details in the Privy Council hearing on 29th November 1610, when it heard a complaint by John Lauder, brother to George and Alexander Lauder, all sons of the late Captain Robert Lauder, against Alexander that he had failed to pay outstanding groundrents due (@ £43,13s,4d per annum) for several years preceding the death of his spouse Susanna Home.
