Margaret married Sir William WARDLAW 3rd of Wilton, son of Sir Henry WARDLAW 2nd of Wilton and Unknown.1 (Sir William WARDLAW 3rd of Wilton was born about 1358 and died before 1 September 1417 1.) Marriage Notes: "Sir William Wardlaw of Wilton had a charter, 1398-1405, from King Robert III. of the lands of Uchterseatmylne, Sameton and Todshaw in the barony of Wilton and shire of Roxburgh. He appears to have married Margaret de Wardlaw, and to have died before I September 1417, on which date there is a commission to grant dispensation for the marriage of Walter Turnbull and Margaret de Wardlaw, widow of Sir William de Wardlaw. In the dispensation she is designed nobilis mulier Margarita de Wardaw, quondam Willelmi de Wardalaw MiIitis relicta vidua." Margaret next married Walter TURNBULL.1 (Walter TURNBULL was born about 1360.) Marriage Notes: "Sir William Wardlaw of Wilton .... appears to have married Margaret de Wardlaw, and to have died before I September 1417, on which date there is a commission to grant dispensation for the marriage of Walter Turnbull and Margaret de Wardlaw, widow of Sir William de Wardlaw.
