Margaret married Sir James OGILVY 2nd of Deskford and Findlater, son of Sir Walter OGILVY of Auchlevyn and Deskford, Sheriff of Banffshire and Margaret SINCLAIR heiress of Deskford and Findlater. (Sir James OGILVY 2nd of Deskford and Findlater was born about 1438, died 13 February 1509(1510) 3 and was buried 1509(1510) in Fordyce parish, Banffshire, Scotland 3.) Marriage Notes: "He (Sir James Ogilvy) married .... secondly, Margaret Chaumer, who, at Aberdeen on 1 October 1510, as widow of the deceased Sir James Ogilvy of Deskford, knight, had her terce adjudged to her out of the Fishings of Ythane." Margaret next married Sir Alexander IRVINE 6th of Drum, Sheriff of Aberdeen, son of Alexander IRVINE 5th of Drum, Sheriff of Aberdeen and Elizabeth or Marion FORBES.1 (Sir Alexander IRVINE 6th of Drum, Sheriff of Aberdeen was born about 1452 and died in 1527 4.) Marriage Notes: "He (Sir James Ogilvy) married, first, Margaret, eldest daughter of Sir Robert Innes of that Ilk; secondly, Margaret Chaumer, who, at Aberdeen on 1 October 1510, as widow of the deceased Sir James Ogilvy of Deskford, knight, had her terce adjudged to her out of the Fishings of Ythane." |
