DUNBAR, Patrick, Sir 1User ID: Y877. General Notes: "Sir Patrick, who, in 1331, as son of Sir Alexander, son of the Earl, quit-claimed his rights in Swinwood to the monks of Coldingham. He was present at the battle of Durham in 1346, and also at Poictiers in 1356 ; but died and was buried at Candia, on his way to the Holy Land in 1356-57." Patrick married Isabella RANDOLPH, daughter of Thomas RANDOLPH 1st Earl of Moray, Regent of Scotland and Isabel STEWART.1 (Isabella RANDOLPH was born about 1318 and died after 20 July 1361 1.) Marriage Notes: "He (Sir Patrick Dunbar, son of Sir Alexander) married, perhaps as his second wife, Isabella, younger daughter of Thomas Randolph, first Earl of Moray." |
