"Helen (Gordon) 'was born on Thursday 7 Febrij 1706 about 12 acloack att night, my mother and the Lady Lesmurdie being Godmothers'. She was baptised at Keith, February 9, 1706 - witnesses : Charles Gordon of Glengerack, Charles Gordon in Auchinhoof, and Charles Stewart in Achoynany. She is said to have had a very handsome tocher.

She married (1) George Fraser in Cuperhill, December 27, 1733; and (2) September 4, 1740, Rev. William Milne, minister of Inverkeithney (1721-66)."
