General Notes: "David II. left no issue by either wife, and was succeeded by his nephew ROBERT, High Steward of Scotland, and son of his half-sister Marjory Bruce." David married Joanna Princess of England, daughter of Edward II King of England and Isabella of France, on 17 July 1328 in Berwick on Tweed, Scotland.1 (Joanna Princess of England was born on 5 July 1321 5 and died in 1362 1.) Marriage Notes: "He married, first, when in his fifth year, on 17 July 1328, Joanna, daughter of Edward II of England ; she died 14 August 1362." David next married Margaret DRUMMOND Queen Consort, daughter of Sir Malcolm DRUMMOND and Unknown, in 1363.1 2 3 (Margaret DRUMMOND Queen Consort was born about 1330 and died soon after 31 January 1374(1375) 3.)
