No baptism record has been found for Helen Home in the Church of Scotland parish registers, only her death and burial notice. She may have been a twin of William. There are two baptismal entries for William in the registers. Perhaps one of them ought to have been for Helen. This is simply speculation. Another possibility is that she was born in the 'gap' between births, perhaps around 1780.
