Another name for Adam was WHYTE, Adam.1 2 3 4 5 6 General Notes: The 1841 census for Muirkirk parish, Ayrshire, recorded Adam Whyte, both 26 years old, and their three children, Helen, Thomas and Janet, aged 6,4 and 2 years respectively, living in Main Street. Adam worked as a tailor. All were born in Ayrshire, except Adam. A young man, James Jardine, aged 15 years, a tailor's apprentice also lived with the family. Adam married Agnes JARDINE. (Agnes JARDINE was born about 1815 in Kirkoswald Parish, Ayrshire, Scotland 3 4 7.) |
