Other names for Lawrence were TRAINER, Laurence, TRAINOR, Lawrence and TRAYNOR, Lawrence.1 General Notes: In the 1889 death certificate of his wife Mary, Lawrence Traynor was recorded as a blastfurnace filler by occupation. 1 Lawrence married Mary RORKE, daughter of Michael ROURKE and Bridget MALONE, on 12 January 1859 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland. (Mary RORKE was born about 1844 in Ireland 2 and died 7 June 1889 at 5.00 am in The Old Toll, Chapelhall, Lanarkshire, Scotland 1.). The cause of her death was heart disease over 2 months, and dropsy. Marriage Notes: The marriage was solemnised according to the forms of the Catholic Church by Duncan McNab, Catholic Clergyman of St Margaret's. The witnesses were Bartholomew Cauchlin and Margaret Rourk. |
