Another name for Patrick was OGILVIE, Patrick of Inchmartin.3 User ID: V690. Patrick married Marion GRAY, daughter of Patrick GRAY 4th Lord Gray and Marion OGILVY, 12 April 1561(dispensation).1 (Marion GRAY was born about 1540 and died in June 1582 1.) Marriage Notes: "He (Patrick Ogilvy) married, first, Marion or Marjorie Gray, daughter of Patrick, Lord Gray, and widow of Patrick, Master of Ruthven. The dispensation for the marriage is dated 12 April 1561. In it the relationship of the parties is stated to be in the third and third degrees, each being third in descent from Andrew, Lord Gray, who died in 1514." Patrick next married Elizabeth BUTTER, daughter of John BUTTER 5th of Gormack and Beatrix GORDON, after June 1582.1 (Elizabeth BUTTER was born about 1527 and died in May 1590 in Inchmartine, Carse of Gowrie, Perthshire, Scotland 1.) Marriage Notes: "He (Patrick Ogilvy) married, secondly, Elizabeth Butter, relict of Patrick Stewart of Stuikis, Laird of Ballechin." Patrick next married Giles SETON.1 (Giles SETON was born about 1555 and died on 5 February 1601 1.) Marriage Notes: "He (Patrick Ogilvy) married, thirdly, Geills Seytoun, who died 5 February 1601, will dated 26 September 1598, her husband being her executor-nominate." |
