Patrick married Janet GORDON, daughter of Sir George GORDON 2nd Earl of Huntly, High Chancellor of Scotland and Annabella STEWART, before June 1494.1 The marriage ended in annulment. (Janet GORDON was born about 1464 and died Before February 1558 (1559).)

  Marriage Notes:

"Alexander, Master of Crawford ... died, without issue, before 4 February 1491-92, having married Janet Gordon, daughter of the Earl of Huntly, who before 20 June 1494, as his widow, was married to Patrick, then Master of Gray. She is referred to as his wife several times down to March 1500-1, but the marriage was apparently annulled, as before March 1508-9 she was married, thirdly (1507-8), to Patrick Butter of Gormock ....."

from Scots Peerage (vol 3)

"By indenture dated 25 April 1476, betwixt Andrew, Lord Gray, and David Ogilvy of Inchmartine, he (Patrick Gray) was contracted in marriage to Christian Ogilvy, daughter of the said David, but this marriage did not take place, as appears from a
discharge by the said David Ogilvy to Lord Gray dated 16 January 1503-4. He married, about February 1492-93, Janet Gordon, second daughter of George, second Earl of Huntly, Chancellor of Scotland. She was the relict of Alexander,
Master of Crawford, whom she is accused of having smothered in the Castle of Inverqueich. From John, Master of Crawford, her first husband's brother, she, as
then wife of Patrick, Lord Gray, had a renunciation of a lease and feu of the Castle of Inverqueitht, dated 3 February 1492-93. This marriage appears to have been dissolved between March 1501 and March 1508, as at the latter date she appears as the wife of Patrick Butter of Gormock. She was married, fourthly, before November 1535, to James Halkerston of Southwood."
