"William Ogilvy of Inchmartine was retoured heir to his father 25 May 1535. He married Jonet, daughter of Patrick, Lord Gray, who survived him, and married, secondly, before 7 June 1566, James Sandilands of Cruvie." (page 33)
"Patrick (Gray), third Lord, left no legitimate issue, but he had a natural daughter Janet, who had a charter in liferent from Patrick Ogilvy of Inchmartine 6 April 1541. She was married, first, to William Ogilvy of Inchmartine, and had issue ; and secondly, before 1566, to James Sandilands of St. Monance." (page 279)
