No baptisms for James Staats Forbes and Andrew Forbes, son of Alexander Forbes have been found as yet, although both are listed as sons on the family epitaph in St Nicholas Churchyard, and the other children's baptism records are available. They may have been baptised privately and the records not entered in the public records of the Church of Scotland.

is it possible Arthur and Andrew are the same child? For no reference is made to Arthur in other sources that have been found. 1
