(1) Ann Farquharson, who died 27th Oct. 1736: (2) Barbara.daugh. of Alexander (?) Forbes of Putachie (who survived him and marr. (2) 4th Aug. 1753, Theodore Gordon, min. of Kennethmont), and had issue Dorothy, born Aug. 1741, died 26th March 1742. [Aberdeen Tests.]"

Barbara next married Reverend Mr Theodore GORDON Minister of Kennethmont parish, son of William GORDON in Drumbulg, Gartly and Margaret DELGARNO, on 4 August 1753.¹ (Reverend Mr Theodore GORDON Minister of Kennethmont parish was baptised on 20 December 1702 in Forgue parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland ^{2 3} and died on 29 August 1779 in Kinnethmont parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland ^{4 5}.)
