Ann married John LUMSDEN 11th of Cushnie, son of Harry LUMSDEN of Auchindoir, then 10th of Cushnie, Jacobite 1715 and Katherine GORDON, on 8 September 1757.¹ (John LUMSDEN 11th of Cushnie was born in 1727 ¹ and died in 1788 ¹.)

  Marriage Notes:

"John, the eldest son of Harry Lumsden of Cushnie, was born in 1727, and succeeded to the estates on his father's death. He did more, perhaps, than all his predecessors to waste the property, and he managed to get rid of half of it before he died .... He married, on the 8th September, 1757, Ann, daughter of Captain John Forbes of Newe, and had by her eleven children, three of whom died young."
