Alexander married Jean FORBES, daughter of William FORBES of Belnabodach and Agnes FORBES.1 (Jean FORBES was baptised in February 1709 in Strathdon parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 3.)
Marriage Notes:
"Alexander in Dulax, and then in Crofts, where he succeeded his brother Peter. He died in October, 1749. He was fairly well off, for his will (confirmed 24th August, 1750) shows that his plenishing was valued at £763 12s. Sd. Scots, and his bear and com at £381 6s. 8d. Besides this he had lent a good deal of money to his neighbours (see infra, pp. 156-7). He married Jean Forbes, and his will and the registers show that he had .... children"
