Jean married Alexander GORDON in Dulax, then in Crofts, son of Patrick GORDON in Milltown of Glenbucket and Isobell OGG.¹ (Alexander GORDON in Dulax, then in Crofts was born about 1704 and died in October 1749 ¹.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Alexander in Dulax, and then in Crofts, where he succeeded his brother Peter. He died in October, 1749. He was fairly well off, for his will (confirmed 24th August, 1750) shows that his plenishing was valued at £763 12s. Sd. Scots, and his bear and com at £381 6s. 8d. Besides this he had lent a good deal of money to his neighbours (see infra, pp. 156-7). He married Jean Forbes, and his will and the registers show that he had .... children"
