"Cumine, George, of Pitullie Born in 1695, he was the only son, by his third marriage, of William Cuming of Lochtervandich, Provost of Elgin, who sold Lochtervandich to Alexander Duff of Braco, and bought Auchry and Pitullie. Married, in 1719, Jean, daughter of Captain Robt. Urquhart of Burdsyards, by whom he had four sons and two daughters. Jean Urquhart died in 1728, and in 1731 he married his cousin, Christian, daughter of Sir John Guthrie of Ludquharn, and had by her 17 children. he died on 12 December 1767 at Pittendrum, aged 72.
