General Notes: "Cumine, George, of Pitullie Born in 1695, he was the only son, by his third marriage, of William Cuming of Lochtervandich, Provost of Elgin, who sold Lochtervandich to Alexander Duff of Braco, and bought Auchry and Pitullie. Married, in 1719, Jean, daughter of Captain Robt. Urquhart of Burdsyards, by whom he had four sons and two daughters. Jean Urquhart died in 1728, and in 1731 he married his cousin, Christian, daughter of Sir John Guthrie of Ludquharn, and had by her 17 children. he died on 12 December 1767 at Pittendrum, aged 72. George married Jean URQUHART, daughter of Captain Robert URQUHART of Burdsyards, MP, Provost of Forres and Marie FORBES, on 11 July 1719 in Forres parish, Moray, Scotland.1 2 (Jean URQUHART was born about 1700 and died in December 1728 in Pitsligo parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 1 4.)
