Note:

The Families of Moir and Byres by Andrew J. Mitchell Gill (1885) lists the Isabella Moir who married John Urquhart of Craigston as the daughter of William, son of George Moir and Margaret Cumine. Since William was born in 1780, and Isabella married John Urquhart in 1799, that arrangement is not feasible. It is more likely that she was William's sister, as shown on this site. ^{1 4}
